Ireland international Keith Andrews is already eyeing up a long-term future with West Brom following a dream debut in last week’s mauling of Wolves.
Dublin born Andrews, who started his career with Wolves in 1999, playing in 72 matches over six years, scored West Brom’s fourth goal in the 5-1 rout at Molineux.
Andrews has admitted that he would like to make the move permanent.
'I would certainly be open to a longer deal,' said Andrews.
'I have come here to play for a head coach I want to play for and a club I believe is run well and has a good set of lads that I enjoy coming in and working with every day.
'I enjoy being part of the team, so I am certainly open to it and I'm sure if I keep going the way I am then the club will be as well.
'I was delighted just to get on and make my debut and I was delighted with the result.
'The score, and to win by that margin, was Roy of the Rovers stuff. It was a dream come true.'
31 year old Andrews will be keen to get as much game time as possible for the Baggies over the next few months as he wants to remain firmly within Giovanni Trapattoni’s thoughts for a starting birth in the Irish midfield for the upcoming Euro finals in Poland later this year.
Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni will have to plan for crucial Euro 2012 qualifiers against Russia and Slovakia without the services of Damien Duff and Keith Andrews, who were today both ruled out of the double header.
Both players arrived in Dublin ahead of the match but after scans were sent back to their clubs. Fulham winger Duff is struggling with a calf injury, while Andrews has an ongoing groin complaint. Both players missed the opening two qualifying matches through injury.
Duff picked up a head wound in Saturday's draw with West Ham before subsequently appeared to be limping as he left the pitch 20 minutes before the end. Andrews also had to sit out Blackburn's visit to Stoke.

"I always look at the short-term future. To play in a World Cup would be a dream come true. To cement my place on the international stage is one thing but to crack on and qualify for a World Cup it would go down in history."

The Ireland central midfielder will hope to play a part in Ireland's bid to reach South Africa 2010 when they play Group Eight rivals Bulgaria on Saturday before heading off for a showdown with leaders Italy in Bari four days later.
On his return, the 28-year-old will throw himself back into a very different fight as Blackburn bid to preserve their top-flight status over the remaining eight games of a tense Premiership campaign.
Andrews said: "We have got some vital games - the next two internationals - and then the season finishing with the last eight games in the Premier League, which will obviously determine what league we are going to be in.
"But I have got the utmost confidence at club level that we will be able to stay up, and hopefully we will be okay.
"It's brilliant. These are the games you want to be involved in, they are the exciting times that you train hard to be involved in and to get yourself to a level to be involved in these type of situations."
Keith Andrews will start for Ireland in Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Georgia at Croke Park.
Blackburn player Andrews will partner Glenn Whelan in central midfield with Manchester United youngster Darron Gibson losing his starting place.
Dublin born Andrews will earn his second cap after scoring on his debut in the friendly defeat by Poland in November.
Sunderland's Paul McShane remains a fitness doubt for the game.
Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni confirmed to the Football Association of Ireland website that 28-year-old Andrews would earn a starting role.
A decision on McShane's availability will be made after Tuesday evening's training session in Dublin.
McShane trained on Monday but assistant boss Marco Tardelli said that the defender's hamstring injury made his prospects of starting "so-so".
Birmingham's Stephen Kelly, who is currently on loan at Stoke, is McShane's most likely replacement.
Preston's Eddie Nolan is out of the squad because of an Achilles injury.
Uncapped Nolan was only drafted into the squad on Sunday following Steve Finnan's withdrawal.
Sunderland defender McShane has been out of action since picking up his injury in the win over Fulham on 27 January.
Kelly made his debut for Stoke at Sunderland on Saturday after completing a loan move from Birmingham.

Giovanni Trapattoni attended two matches in England on Saturday ahead of selecting his Ireland squad for the World Cup qualifier against Georgia.
The Italian joined Alan Kelly at the early kick-off game between Preston North End and Burnley.
Kelly has a long-standing relationship with Preston, but the impressive recent performances of Sean St Ledger could have been the reason for Trapattoni's presence.
He then made the short trip to watch Blackburn Rovers play Newcastle United, with the form of Keith Andrews and Damien Duff high on the agenda.
Meanwhile, Keith Fahey made his debut for Birmingham City in their 1-1 draw with Cardiff City at St. Andrews.
The former St Patrick's Athletic midfielder replaced fellow Irishman Lee Carsley with seven minutes to go.
There were goals aplenty for Irish players across the pond today, with Rory Delap's strike at Stamford Bridge for Stoke City the highlight.
